REMEMBER YOUR PRACTICE GEAR, AS THERE IS A FREE WORKSHOP WITH THE JUDGE
FOLLOWING THE COMPETITION
· Doors will open at 9am and numbers will
be ready at 9:30.
· Admission
is $5.
· Please remember your dance card. We
will be collecting pre-premier cards at check in.
· Dancing starts at 10am with the Fling.
· Change
rooms will be available for male and female dancers.
· The
venue is Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 8060 SW Brentwood St. Portland
· We
will have a change break prior to the Flora and Hornpipe. We won't start the
dancing until everyone is ready.
· We
will have a small snack bar again at this competition.
· Reminder:
No rosin may be used in the Church
- The Sunday workshop will be from 9-11:30 AM.

Choreography Competition
1. Dance competition will be governed by the rules and regulations of the RSOBHD.
2. Advance registration is necessary.
3. No refunds of entry fees will be given. No exceptions.
4. Each Dancer must present a valid 2026 ScotDance registration card
5. The decision of the judge is final.
6. No one other than the competition committee may communicate with the judge.
7. All age groups will be determined at the close of the entry.
8. Dancers will dance in inverse order of entry (first to enter last to dance)
9. Dancers must remain in costume to receive awards.
10. An Aggregate trophy will be awarded in each Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Premier age group. No Aggregate trophy will be awarded in Primary. Choreography will not be included in the Aggregate trophy.
11. Any protest must be submitted in writing to the competition organizer, properly signed and accompanied by a fee of $20. It must be made immediately following the competition. If the protest is sustained the fee will be returned.
