The Portland Highland Dancing Association is governed by an Executive Committee, the officers of which are elected annually by PHDA members. Ten (10) member volunteers are needed to fill all voting positions on the Executive Committee each year. In addition, there are several non-voting positions, also filled by volunteers, that assist in maintaining the mission and events sponsored by the PHDA. Elections take place annually at the spring competition.
